Attorney Bill Henry has been assisting clients with complex legal matters for 36 years. He served as judge of Texas’s 428th District Court in Hays County, Texas from 2005 to 2018. In his current role as attorney and mediator, Bill works with clients to resolve intricate cases across commercial, real estate, personal injury, and family law. With extensive experience as both an attorney and judge, he has overseen more than 220 jury trials and hundreds of bench trials and hearings.
Raised in East Texas and later moving to Houston, Bill and his wife, Shelley, have made their home in Hays County since 1988. He completed his undergraduate studies at Baylor University before earning his Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law in Waco.
Before his judgeship, Bill was an assistant attorney general for Texas, practiced privately, and served as an assistant district attorney for Hays County. He is board certified in Civil Trial Law and Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Bill also offers dispute resolution services as a mediator, arbitrator, and private judge, offering efficient and effective solutions for complex legal cases.
